Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
ive just started using this module for the first time - with drupal 8.4 - and the results are unpredictable and unintuitive, and not what i was expecting after working with page manager, field groups, ds etc. i've color-coded text paragraphs and attached screenshots.
There is a possibility I am misunderstanding your approach to layout. If so, please advise.
Thanks

Syntapse CreditAttribution: Syntapse commentedupdate: the only predictable column format i can see is "equal columns" from the bootstrap kit. all others 2+ column layouts are not behaving as expected.

anydigital CreditAttribution: anydigital as a volunteer and at WONDROUS, Drupal Atomic Alliance, Highweb commented@laurencefass, your truth. but this is initially a problem of default layouts provided by core - when you see "25/50/25" layout that means:
Region 1 (full width)
Region 2 (25%) | Region 3 (50%) | Region 4 (25%)
Region 5 (full width)
...
So it's not obvious from the name what is inside this layout. Though, that should gone in Drupal 8.5 once we have Sections with straightforward layouts instead these crazy layouts.

Syntapse CreditAttribution: Syntapse commentedok thanks for testing at least i can work with equal columns...
so are we expecting a fix in 8.5?

anydigital CreditAttribution: anydigital as a volunteer and at WONDROUS, Drupal Atomic Alliance, Highweb commented8.5 will probably deprecate those default layouts to make less confusion.
But anyway - I'm going to provide default layouts directly by Bricks and hide those ones from core! Follow and follow up this issue!

anydigital CreditAttribution: anydigital as a volunteer and at WONDROUS, Drupal Atomic Alliance, Highweb commentedCould you allocate any people resources? I can lead someone implementing that.
I hope next release will be in 3-4 weeks.

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedHi,
I created this module to override the core layouts recently:

Might be useful in the meantime.
