Notes

#2948782: [bootstrap][policy][8.x-4.x] Internet Explorer is no longer supported

While this policy does not affect 8.x-3.x directly (as evident from fixes above), it's worth mentioning that there is a new official policy regarding IE moving forward (in 8.x-4.x). For a more detailed explanation, see comments on #2554199-45: Bootstrap 4.
