Problem/Motivation
Switching to bootstrap and using the media module (core) to attach media e.g. images on a node through a media field seems to have a bit of confusing UX (check attached 1 and 2). Comparing with the base D8 theme, the modal window:
- has tabs, so that the user know what's the current mode
- grid is working
- it's wider
- there are no misalignment issues e.g. the "Apply filters"
Also, related with media and the UX experience, displaying the selected items has issues as well. E.g. reorder and deleting functionality is not great because of the not working grid and the big bootstrap buttons. (Check attached 3 and 4).
It may have been answered before but we couldn't find an answer. Can somebody point us to the right direction on how to achieve a similar UX comparing to the base theme? Which twig files should we modify?
