I have build a page using views that displays table with invoices, which has sortable column.
And there is a bug - after clicking on the column header to sort the table the sorting tooltip does not hide. And there is no way to remove it, I've tried to click all over the page - tooltip is still there:
How to reproduce:
1. Click column header to sort the column.
Table content should be updated and chevron icon would be displayed next to the column title indicating sorting direction.
2. Hover over the chevron icon to see the tooltip.
3. Click again (don't move cursor) to change sort direction.
Table content should be updated and tooltip text would change. Actually it's another tooltip with another text.
Now if user moves mouse pointer away or click somewhere - the latest tooltip would disappear, but the first one is still there...
4. If user clicks again and again the chevron icon - multiple tooltips would be created (all of them may be overlaped by the last one):
It looks like old tooltips become orphaned after table content is replaced with a new one, that's why they are not removed.
Is there a fix for that?

But still hope that this issue would be fixed in the next boostrap version :)

markhalliwellThanks for creating an issue!
Unfortunately, as this project is focused primarily on providing functionality as a base theme, these kinds of customizations are best handled on a per-basis case in a sub-theme that is designed for the site in question.

noopal CreditAttribution: noopal commentedHi
I am having a similar problem on default forms.
I don't think I have any modules which would affect the way tooltips behave
on the registration form I have the field below.
<input class="form-control form-text required" title="" data-toggle="tooltip" type="text" id="edit-mail" name="mail" value="" size="60" maxlength="254" data-original-title="A valid e-mail address. All e-mails from the system will be sent to this address." aria-describedby="tooltip755725">
When a user clicks on the email field the tooltip shows, if they click on the email field again the tooltip is removed, but any other actions then the tooltip isnt removed.
So if a user clicks on the email field the tooltip shows, they fill in their email and click on the next field, the tooltip remains. If they click on a field with another tooltip both tooltips are now showing.
