I recently wanted to make a Carousel in Bootstrap 3, and tried many different solutions, but using Views Bootstrap was by far the easiest way, with the Carousel components it offers.

So perhaps Views Bootstrap can be added under "Supported modules > Drupal 8" on the Bootstrap module description page?
