In the documentation of the installation of the subtheme there is referenced to the .info file. But it is not present in the folder.

"Open ./THEMENAME/THEMENAME.info.yml and change the name, description and any other properties to suite your needs. Make sure to rename the library name as well: - THEMENAME/global-styling."

Should this be a copy of the standard .info file in the bootstrap folder? Than this reference should be adjusted.

The file does exist but has to be renamed, you can find the appropriate file here:
