Thanks in advance for answering this simple question:
Is boost taking care of Panels and Views caching, making these non-core caching mechanisms useless?

To my experience, this is true : Views and Panels caches need to be disabled as well.
It could be worth stating this in the documentation, or explaining how this could complement each other.
