After activating the 7.x-1.x-dev version of the module on Drupal 7, I get this on every page:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$book in bookblock_block_view() (line 49 of /home/patloughery/WayofLifeOnline.com/sites/all/modules/bookblock/bookblock.module).

The book block itself appears to display the configured content correctly.

Thanks mcjim! The issue appears to have been fixed. I've run through my site and cannot reproduce it anymore.
