Hi All,

I would like to remove the 'Welcome text/Quote' block that is standard on the front page (and replace it with my own).
I have deleted all text entries (title and Description) in the appearance screen, so it no longer visible. However, now an empty space on the page remains.
This particular item is not visible as a block in the structure menu. So I can not remove it there.

How can I remove this block all together from my screen?

Thank you for your anwser, that is clear and is what I have done. However, I find the padding a bit to big
Can you guide me were to find or how the change the padding below the columns?
