Hot link color appears blue in edit setting using Stone Soft palette but changes to yellow in view / user setting

Hot link color appears blue in admin setting using Stone Soft palette but changes to yellow in user setting. On _some_ computers there isn't enough contrast between background color and yellow hot link color so links are very hard to read, e.g. on new Toshiba Satellite yellow is virtually unreadable, older machines it's not a problem

Note: The attached jpeg doesn't show the yellow contrast problem but does document the color switch between blue and yellow.

How can this be changed so hot links throughout site appear blue both in edit and view setting?

Also, yellow appears in submenu words such as "home" again causing a readability issue.
