Block containing a simple refreshed image (from webcam ftp) is refreshing for admin but not for anon user.
I have all caching off and permissions for anon user ticked for block refresh.
Have searched for help with this but failed to find anything so assume it must be me!
Any pointers to what I can check?
thanks

bocaj CreditAttribution: bocaj commentedI have not run into this issue before and have not heard of anyone else having this issue. Can you give me the link to your site where you are having this issue? If you don't want to post it publicly please send me a link to my contact form.
I would be happy to try and help you figure it out, but I don't have any ideas at this point.

Since raising the issue I installed the block-refresh(BR) module on another site and am getting exactly the same problem on that site its not browser specific using ff,ie and chrome. I have enabled firebug but i am not very familiar with it. BR is adding the cdata and .js link to the page in all cases and firebug console shows the repeated firing of the event, just the pictures not changing. So I assumed it must be something to do with cache, but have everything turned off. The drupal version of the site is not live yet so i will send you the link by contact now. Thanks again for your help

jimboh CreditAttribution: jimboh commentedOne thought, the image file is in a directory off the web root (public_html/webcam/currentcam.jpg, drupal is in public_html/drupal) could that be an issue? I will test see if that makes a difference.
No. ftp now places file in /drupal/sites/default/files/webcam/currentcam.jpg still the same problem.

bocaj CreditAttribution: bocaj commentedjimboh and I have been working on this issue on his test site. So far we have not been able to find any solutions. We are suspecting at the moment that it is some sort of caching issue.
EDIT: I meant to mention before that after some testing the block is not refreshing for any user, including admin. Will change the title of this issue.
