Certain selectors only?

Is there a way to have this work only on certain selectors? I've not been able to get BeautyTips nor Tipsy to work on this site, and Bettertips was looking good until I found there seems to be no way to control the selectors. (I'm using titles for captions and other things on the site where I wouldn't want Bettertips to appear.)
