Validation at http://d-theme.com/beginning shows one error blocking complete automated validation. The W3C validates this theme as XHTML 1.0 Strict but Total Validator highlights a minor error in the XHTML that is illegal accoring to the W3C schema for XHTML. There should not be whitespace at the start or end of an attribute. Would also be nice to have dir= attribute while you are changing the html element.
