Hi Sir/Madam

Firstly this is a good module that worked right out of the box so to speak, when I was unable to display metatags on my home page. However, only issue for me is that after I enabled the Beanstag module I am getting a pipe character before my site name, whenever I enter only a site name in the system information configuration page - without a slogan set. - The website title displays like this - | My Website Title

If I try to only use the [site:name] or other suitable variable name it duplicates the text output in the page title. for example -

My Website Title | My Website Title

I believe this is a coding issue in the module which doesn't readily accommodate for site owners not wanting to display a slogan on their site. How do I get this around this issue.

However I am not a coder but I can follow instructions to insert code once guided.

Subsequent to the above message I found that when I have the no slogan set in the site information. And I set the beanstag for the path and the Title set as Sitenamw, the page title in the page source would be duplicated - My Site Title | My Site Title

even thought the home page is not an actual created page but a collection of blocks assigned to the page. Also when I set the beanstag to siteslogan in hopes of just generating the site name as the slogan is blank it generates | My Site Title

An unwanted pipe character. That is why I posted the above link as maybe the module could be changed to no output a pipe character when no slogan is present.

Please help as soon as you can.

Please update the beanstag module to dev and test.

you can enter in the page title and it will only display the site name without the pipe character.

Hi
I was entering the site name without success until I realized the change - 'Enter the page title. Enter if you only want to display the site name.'

So I entered '' and it worked beautifully.
