CCK prefix / suffix support

Hi there, thanks for this very helpful module.

I switched an existing basic text field to "Autocomplete for allowed values".
Works fine, but the prefix i entered in the past was still shown on the field edit page but was not working anymore.
After that i saved the field once without any prefix and now any newly given prefix value is ignored.

So...
- is it normal (at the moment) that prefix/suffix don't work?
- If yes - could they get "reactivated"?
