Darren OhIt fixes an error notice that you can only see if you use the development version of Drupal 6 to create a new node. I don't think the two issues are related. However, I have improved the patch so it can use the previous title of a saved node.

fagohm, I don't get the notice on my dev-site? The title form element is set to #value, so there is a title: 'ant'.
