Backdrop support?

Thank you for your work and effort on this module. I have used it on a workflow system and it worked there quite well.

Would any of the current maintainers of this Drupal module be interested in maintaining or co-maintaining the Backdrop version?
If so, I am willing to help in whatever capacity you think will best be of service to you. If not, I am willing to complete it, and I am willing to maintain or co-maintain the Backdrop version, once it is ported. https://github.com/backdrop-contrib/auto_nodetitle

The current system is that I'll take blame for Backdrop issues and the Drupal maintainers will take credit for its useful functionality.
