Release notes

Audit Chain 1.6.0 is a backward-compatible minor release.

Added

- Strict keyed append and signing-status API (https://www.drupal.org/project/audit_chain/issues/3620484). logKeyed() appends only when the row will be HMAC-signed with the currently configured key; otherwise it throws AuditChainSigningUnavailableException and writes nothing. Ordinary log() is unchanged. signingStatus() returns {keyed, key_id} from the chain's own key resolution so evidence-required consumers do not duplicate Key-entity lookup.

Drupal 12 compatibility remains preparatory-only and is intentionally not declared until the dependency chain supports it.

No schema changes and no update hooks.
