I know there is a thread about including other players from SoundManager besides the 360 player, but it seems there is little to no traction to include those in the Drupal 7 release. Is there a way for me to modify my install of AudioField's code to include the Bar-UI SoundManager player? The 360 player does not work within the design restrictions we have for our site, and my attempts so far to modify the code have been unsuccessful.

I am working on implementing Soundmanager 2 additional players. I will update issue #2615240: Soundmanager 2 Players when ready. Expect to be done in the next few days.
