Hi,
enabling Apache Solr Multilingual 6.x-3.0-alpha1+3-dev and Variable API 6.x-1.0-alpha1 breaks Solr search. ./admin/settings/apachesolr
can not longer be accessed (WSOD), also every Solr search results in a WSOD.
README.txt says:

Usage

Is this module ready for usage, or should it only be used in dev environments?
Thanks!

mkalkbrennerWhich version of the apachesolr module are you using?
Multilingual only works with it's 6.x-3.x-dev branch! Even 6.x-3.0-rc2 is too buggy.
The "stable" setup that is already used by some bigger sites is:
apachesolr 6.x-3.x-dev
apachesolr_multilingual 6.x-3.x-dev
variable 6.x-1.0-alpha1
This mix of (upcoming) releases could be considered production ready (on your own risk):
apachesolr 6.x-3.0-rc3
apachesolr_multilingual 6.x-3.0-alpha2
variable 6.x-1.0-alpha1

asb CreditAttribution: asb commentedThat probably explains it. I'm running the "recommended" apachesolr 6.x-1.8 from 2013-Apr-11. As there is no upgrade path from apachesolr 6.x-1.x or 6.x-2.x to 6.x-3.x, I'll better leave things untouched.
But I'd like not mention that it's awesome that you're still developing for 6.x. Lots of us stuck with D6 will be grateful!
Thank you! -asb
