Hi,
Newbie questions follows... :)
I just installed the protector module but the settings confuse me somewhat. Why are 'Robots to detect' unchecked as default? And what about other legitimate robots, how are they being treated? And how do I know what methods of detection to use?

sunJust a quick "me too" here. This module should install itself with a reasonable default configuration.
Also, descriptions on the settings page could be a bit more informative. By visiting this page after installation, my first questions are:
- What means "Robots to Detect"? What are the effects of each checkbox? Why shouldn't I enable all of them?
- Do I have to enable a robot detection method? What happens if I don't enable one? Should I enable both? Or is one enough? Is this performance related?
- And of course, like PWG already mentioned, I see a reasonable default value for the meta tag, but all other options are disabled. As a regular user, I'm lost.
Additionally, there is no README.txt. Every Drupal module should include at least this file to provide documentation.
