when I upload an image the image seems to be broken in the preview. Also on the homepage no images are displayed. The little indicator circles do work fine and show the correct amount of uploaded pictures

Can you check your directory permissions? Make sure that the styles folder under files is writable?

it seems to be a problem with my webhost (one.com). I tried the same with another host and it worked instantly..

after checking on all the said configuration steps - an re-creating a new slide show with the NOVA style selected and the new image style set - it all came to life and worked perfectly!!!

I am having the same issue. I created the image style as suggested. The Pager is off to the right and changes but the images do not show. I am using the latest version of the slider. I have tried clearing the cache as well.

I'm having the same problem. It worked on version 7.x-1.x of Andromeda (where everything was included and I just had to paste in the code in the block and point to the pictures in the right directory).

However, with this version (Andromeda 7.x-2.x), the pictures don't show. I get the shadow below where the pictures are supposed to be, as well as the three indicator dots, but no picture.

Same problem here. Replying to track the issue.

Update: Selected the "Nova" type and that seemed to do the trick, with other patches from other bugs. Is the option to have default types that do not work part of a plan to generally support other slideshow engines?

yes. the default type does not do much right now. only the Nivo type works.
