I use Alinks since a long time. I think this was working on the D6 version but for now I'm not able to make it work when there is a regitered tag in the sentence like this: my sentence®

Is there a way to make it work?

Yes, but It will require a patch.

Just download the patch and then you will be able to use it with Drupal -7
