Hi, if this offers still stands, I would be happy to add you to the maintainers based on your obvious history of maintaining.

The reasoning there has been less work here, is because in general the AI Automators + Field Widget Actions has proven to create better results for anyone that wants their alt text to be based on more context, so we have pushed efforts there, but this module has the advantage of being easy to use and thus part of Drupal CMS, so having people help out would be great!

thanks, yes the offer still stands, we're using this in several projects. If you'd like to, please also add our team mate @grevil. Hope we'll find the time to care for the issues in the near future (or of they appear to us)
