Hey GrahamO,

If you aren't already aware, the Google Calendar API v2 being deprecated last year threw a bit of a wrench into how this module works. Be sure to check out #2376795: Unable to Connect to Google (Calendar API v2 is deprecated) and the module's README for a better understanding of all of that. I haven't worked all that much with the module before or after making that change, so nothing else is coming to mind as far as comments or suggestions. Feel free to ask questions if you get stuck and I'll do my best to help. I'm guschilds on GitHub too, if it makes more sense to ask there.

Thanks Gus. I seem to have found my way to use the new APIs and your module is now working on my test Backdrop site.
