Using version 6.x-1.12 my agenda blocks have also stopped displaying. What's strange however, is that they still debug properly. I don't get the error message about a fatal error. They just don't display on the website. Did you get that error code running debug?

I think your issue does not come from the agenda module but from your php installation. I suggest doing a web search on "Fatal error: Call to undefined function socket_create" and check your installation per the instructions on the pages you'll find.

It is worth noting that there are references that GoDaddy does not allow sockets on their shared hosting plan.
