If you use S3FS w/o being configured for advagg, 7.25 will screw up some things. As found in a related thread, obscure options -> changing s3fs:// back to public:// will resolve it.

Mikey - think that is separate, when at a pc rather than phone can comment on your issue perhaps.

For advagg 7 2.25 - they should ensure to use public:// as default rather than what it set up as drupal. I'd recommend they post a notice or quickly release their dev commit that might fix it (dev of advagg 7 2.25)
