Administration notifications' functions name space is colliding with the Admin Notification module, so I guess I shouldn't install both of them at the same time without conflict.

Maybe one of this two modules should vary its nomination to avoid this collision, isn't it?

I'm the maintainer of the Admin notification module. The issue was also reported to me, and I closed it as won't fix since in my opinion modules should usually use their project name as the module name.

However I added a note about the collision to the Admin notification project page.

Hmm, that was a mistake on my part (I think this was the first module I ever created). I'm not sure how to change the name of the module without breaking it upon update for anyone using it, so I'll add a note to the top page, and change the file names when I port it to D8.
