As the media module is in core since Drupal 8.4 we should add a link to the Content section.

We need this now or we can wait for the Media module full integration in Core? I think that we can wait, maybe something can change in the module.

Hey romainj,

I've added a patch to get the link to view.media.media_page_list and a sub menu to 'add media' like the 'add content menu'
would love to see this in future release. :)

Hi,

as of admin_toolbar 1.22 the media link is now present under "content".
I don't know which code part is leading to this, but I think is base question to this issue seems to be resolved.

What' is about a "Add media" menu under "content" like the "Add content" menu?

The Media menu link is added but I do not know how :)
I think that we should add the "Add media" link under the "Media" link so that the "Content" section is lighter.

OK the media menu link is added because there is a tab link from which we generate it.

Yes. I think that they are useful links.
