The name space for this module does not conform to normal drupal usage and is confusing.

It is called Admin Menu Hider and is found at https://www.drupal.org/project/admin_menu_dropdown

The name admin_menu_hider seems most appropriate.
Can it be changed in the project url naming?

I realize the issue queue has been quiet for several years.
Maybe there are better ways to achieve this?

Just thought I'd test out 7.x-3.x-dev on a local environment.
As long as javascript aggregation is not on, it seems to work.
And there's an issue for that.

This project was initially named Admin Menu Dropdown (or something like that). I had created my own version from scratch, and when I went to create a new project I found this. It did something similar, but was unmaintained. I took this project over and changed it to Admin Menu Hider, which I thought was more descriptive. I cannot change the slug, though.

I don't use Drupal much anymore, and haven't been maintaining this module. I just switched the project to looking for new maintainer.
