The name space for this module does not conform to normal drupal usage and is confusing.
It is called Admin Menu Hider and is found at https://www.drupal.org/project/admin_menu_dropdown
The name admin_menu_hider seems most appropriate.
Can it be changed in the project url naming?
I realize the issue queue has been quiet for several years.
Maybe there are better ways to achieve this?
Just thought I'd test out 7.x-3.x-dev on a local environment.
As long as javascript aggregation is not on, it seems to work.
And there's an issue for that.

Josh The Geek CreditAttribution: Josh The Geek commentedThis project was initially named Admin Menu Dropdown (or something like that). I had created my own version from scratch, and when I went to create a new project I found this. It did something similar, but was unmaintained. I took this project over and changed it to Admin Menu Hider, which I thought was more descriptive. I cannot change the slug, though.
I don't use Drupal much anymore, and haven't been maintaining this module. I just switched the project to looking for new maintainer.
