Hi,
After about a year away, I upgraded my drupal 6, including all modules. All is well except I can't get the administration menu to show. I tried the solution in the readme.txt file. I wiped and rebuilt, uninstalled and reinstalled, ran update.php, flushed caches. Nothing helps. (Access permissions is not relevant because I am the administrator).
Thanks
P.S. I don't know if it is relevant or not but I also lost the 'Create Content' menu link in my Navigation menu.

lilon CreditAttribution: lilon commentedI updated admin_menu with ver. 6.x-3.0 alpha4 and it reappeared. However, it does not include 'Create content'.
'Administer' and all its sub menus disappeared from the 'Navigation' menu and 'Create Content' finally reappeared, but in Primary Links menu.
A big mess...

truls1502It seems it is outdated because Drupal 6 is EOL (End-of-life) and will no longer be supported.
In case if you or anyone is still facing on Drupal 7/8, please to reopen it, change the version and provide with more information and a screenshot which might help us to troubleshoot. :)
