Long Taxonomy terms exend past right sidebar space

I think the screenshots describe this problem fairly adequately. Basically if a select list contains really long taxonomy term names, the right sidebar doesn't fit the entire select list. We can fix this just by setting a width or max-width on the select lists to keep them inside the container (browsers then show the full width of the select list when it's clicked on).

This patch actually goes a little further and sets a max-width to 100% on all form elements, which should prevent any similar problems from occurring.
