I accidentally set the Generator as the default theme. Tried to fix it with the dev version of 2016-Jul-05 (today) as mentioned in https://www.drupal.org/node/2755711 but it does not work.
I just read that the fix was in the dev version of D7. Is it possible that the fix is not in the D8 dev version?
Thanks in advance,
Mick

Jeff Burnz CreditAttribution: Jeff Burnz commentedIt's fixed the DEV version for Drupal 8, did you delete the old adpativetheme folder and upload the new one?
I will test now to make sure this is working also, thanks for the bug report.

1. Deleted the \themes\adaptivetheme folder
2. Reload the page and the error is gone, blank page
3. Download the new dev version July 6, 2016 - 02:03
4. Reload the page and the error is back. Not as shown in your screenshot with the menu's and all, but only the error.

Jeff Burnz CreditAttribution: Jeff Burnz commentedClear the cache tables in the database, were you logged in? Show me a screenshot please. Is this online?

MickDurst CreditAttribution: MickDurst commentedI'm sorry I don't know how to clear the cache in the database. I only know how to clear cache in Drupal itself but due to the error I can't get to that menu.
In Chrome I was logged in and on IE I am not and in both browsers I am getting the error.
The site is online: http://recepten.linseys.nl/

MickDurst CreditAttribution: MickDurst commentedNo problem, the password is not important I will send it in a PM. I can only find a contact form on adaptivethemes.com. Is that okay?

Jeff Burnz CreditAttribution: Jeff Burnz commentedThe latest version of AT Theme Generator module (included in the AT Tools module) will fix this issue, when it's installed it detects if the old Generator theme is the default theme and if so sets Bartik to be default, then uninstalls the old generator and actually deletes it entirely. This assumes of course you can get to Admin section to install a module etc.
