Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
Advanced Forum builds it's own permalink on comments using the comment number and a pound symbol, so we should not rebuild this if Advanced Forum is enabled.
E.g.:
if (!module_exists('advanced_forum')) {
$vars['permalink'] = l(t('Permalink'), $uri['path'], $uri['options']);
}

jhinxed CreditAttribution: jhinxed commentedHi There,
I'm using advanced forum with adaptive theme. I found this thread and I was wondering how I can change the links back to comment numbers? Hope you can help me. You can check here: http://www.atheistrepublic.com/forums/site-support/requesting-feedback#c...

AnybodyThe problem still exists in the stable version and it would be great to have this fixed in the next stable release. This problem is really bad and I lost some time to find out, that the problem is in AT.

Jeff Burnz CreditAttribution: Jeff Burnz commentedYeah, but this was fixed ages ago, so you can use that, the fix is right there if you need it. The new version will be released when it's ready, I prefer to take more time and get everything right, so users don't have to keep chasing new releases etc.
