I've installed Adaptive Images for the first time and I'm having an issue with the folders.

I have the usual styles/[image style name]/public and then either 1382, 768, 480 or 992 but unfortunately when I go into a folder say 480 rather than seeing all of the images, I see 1382, 768, 480 and 992 again. It becomes infinite and I end up with styles/[image style name]/public/480/480/480/480/480/480 etc.

I was also having an issue with the cache, if an image was edited with the same file name the original file was shown throughout the website. It's like once the images were generated, they weren't updated.

I've uninstalled the module and the site is working as expected now but I can't seem to remove the infinite folders. I'd be happy to continue using the module if the caching and infinite folder issues could be fixed.

Has anyone else experienced these issues?

I have noticed the 'infinite folders' problem - just now when I was trying to back up a client site in readiness to upgrade core, I was noticing that I got stuck at the image folders, and when I investigated, that was the problem.

Is it possible to reproduce this issue? Or does it just happen random? Also I'm not sure why you couldn't remove the folders. Did you check the errorlogs?
