The footer on has expanded over most of my content in Chrome only

The theme has been working great so far in firefox and IE.

However I looked on chrome and it seems that the footer has extended over a lot of the page content.

I have no idea how to fix this, and everything else is working great so would be a real shame to have to write a new custom theme.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
