Release notes

This is a hotfix followup to 7.x-1.4 that fixes a regression that broke PHP 7 compatibility when the PHP8 polyfill isn't included.

No other changes were made since 7.x-1.4 to see all changes since 7.x-1.3, please review the release notes for that release.
