Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
This is a bugfix release for Acquia connector
In this version, connector now logs telemetry data instead of sending it to a third party. This allows Acquia hosting to more easily parse customer configurations to provide a better module experience for our customers. If you are extending the existing Telemetry service, make sure you review the code, as the Telemetry event has been moved into its own service.
This is an incremental bugfix for Connector and Search for Drupal 7. Thank you to everyone who have migrated from 3.x to 4.x in the recent weeks! Remember, 7.x-3.x goes end of Life March 31 2023.
This is a bugfix release for the 7.x version of Connector with Acquia Search..
It makes the UI appear better on the connector status page, and fixes several use-case specific bugs found by users.
This is the next generator of Connector which supports oauth and Acquia Cloud Next.
Customers are advised to use this module as support and functionality for Acquia Search will stop in early 2023 with the 7.x-3.x branch.
This is the next generator of Connector which supports oauth and Acquia Cloud Next. Customers are advised to use this module with the upcoming 3.1.x version of Acquia Search and 4.x version of Acquia Perz, both are better integrated with Acquia Connector to provide a better customer experience.

This is an incremental update to connector, with improvements to smooth the transition to 4.0.0. Customers are urged to upgrade to 4.0.0 as soon as it hits a stable release.
This is an important service release for Acquia Connector on Drupal 7
This release updates the outdated XMLRPC calls to REST calls (similar to Drupal 8+) from Connector to Acquia services. It also disables the Acquia SPI module, as the insight service went EOL in early 2022. All Drupal 7 customers should upgrade to this version to ensure site stability.

This is an important update to Acquia Connector, as it removes the calls to the now EOL Insight Service.
If you have any custom code that sent or retrieved data from Acquia insight, you will see errors pop up in your logs now. Otherwise, if you're using the module in a stock format (most customers), this release will fix the following
* Errors during cron sending to Acquia SPI
* Errors when trying to register a site
This version also introduces support for Drupal 10 and PHP 8.1. It is likely the last version to support Drupal 8. (8.9)
This is an incremental update to Connector 4.x beta, introducing Drupal 10 readiness.
Officially, this version drops Drupal 8. However, when performing manual testing in the 4.x branch, Drupal 8 never worked due to the event subscriber change in Drupal 9.1.
This is an incremental update to the beta program for Connector 4.x. This version should be used by Acquia Search 3.1.x beta testers, as well as Acquia Perz beta customers.
This is the first beta of the rewritten Acquia Search module for Acquia Search Solr 7+.
This is beta code -- make sure you have a backup of your codebase and test on a non-production instance of your Drupal Site!
In this beta, there is still support for Solr3/4, however it will be removed from the final version. No customers should be using Solr 3/4 anymore since its been turned off from Acquia.
This is a feature increment to the 4.x branch of connector.
The major addition to this version is the ability for other products to add their own forms and associated third party settings to the Acquia Connector page. Since all Acquia customers should be using connector, this simplifies the place where credentials can be entered.
It also allows Acquia products to depend on the Subscription service to derive its credentials, instead of using config directly.
This is a new version of Acquia Connector, entirely rewritten from previous 8.x-1.x and 3.x versions. It utilizes event subscribers to detect your credentials and will not support the legacy acquia insight service.
This version of Acquia connector changes the legacy static subscription system into an events based one. Data should be compatible with existing 3.x versions of connector.
This release pins Search API Solr to 1.7 and re-allows access to this module for earlier versions of Drupal 8. No other changes since 1.25
If you're running Drupal 8.9+ and are not using any custom code that requires Search API Solr 1.7, you're strongly recommended to update to Acquia Connector 3.x and Acquia Search 2.x
All features previously in the 2.0 release candidates are in the 3.0.1 release of Acquia Connector. If you're using 2.0-rc1/4 you should upgrade to 3.0.1 instead.
This release adds a notification for 2.x customers to upgrade to 3.0.1. The 3.x branch is functionally equivalent to 2.x
For customers who were using Search Api Solr, be sure to use the 3.x branch of Acquia Search instead.
Except for any security or other critical issues, 2.x is deprecated and will become unsupported by May 1st 2021.
All features previously in the 1.24 release candidates are in the 3.0.1 release of Acquia Connector. If you're using 1.24-rc1/4 you should upgrade to 3.0.1 instead.
This release adds a notification for 1.x customers to upgrade to 3.0.1. The 3.x branch is functionally equivalent to 1.x except Acquia Search was moved to http://www.drupal.org/project/acquia_search
For customers who were using Search with 8.x-1.x, be sure to use the 2.x branch of Acquia Search.
The 3.x version of Acquia Connector is similar in features to the latest releases of 1.x and 2.x, without Acquia Search. Acquia Search has been moved to its own module with the same name for all versions of solr: http://www.drupal.org/project/acquia_search

The 3.0 release will replace the old 1.x and 2.x branches of the connector. Otherwise the code is functionally the same as the 1.x and 2.x branches without Acquia Search.
This should be the last RC of the 2.x branch of connector before release. In this RC, features and sync'd with 1.x, making the only difference between versions the inclusion of Acquia Search for Solr3/4 in the 1.x version.
This should be the final RC before a full 1.24 release of connector with D9 support. This RC removes all patches and requires Search API Solr 1.9 to work.
This update makes a small change by updating to the latest version of Search API Solr and Search API Solr Multilingual. It removes the required patches from rc1.
This is a major release for the 1.x version of connector if you're using Acquia Search Solr 3.x/4.x. Specifically this introduces support for the following
* Solarium 6 in Search API Solr
* Drupal 9 support
* Require Search API Solr Multilingual
If you're testing Drupal 9 with Acquia Search Solr 3.x/4.x, please give this RC a try and report issues in the queue.
This release introduces support for both the legacy SOLR4/3.5 service, as well as the new SOLR 7 service. If you're having any issues using either one of these services, you can safely revert back to 3.6. Please file any issues you have in the issue queue!
PS: Support for SOLR7 requires the newest version of Apache Solr, 7.x-1.12.
