I have update my site to 9.4 and I have noticed the mysql connection class has moved to own module(mysql) so the namespace has changed. I think we can use a more "general" solution which doesn't base on db driver.

Is it D8/9/10 version abandoned by module owner? It would be pity, because module os nice, but there is no activity for last 2.5 year :(
