Hi

Looking for help with a specific issue. Happy to pay for it it be resolved.

I have a basic commerce site, really quite simple. I have made a few sites with Drupal, and i know a lot about IT generally, but a proper web developer or programmer i am not.

My wife wants to sell a cooking book, just a PDF. So i made a basic website. Its pretty much all good to go, apart from a bit more polish

The issue.

When i try to set up paypal as the payment method, the site simply wont allow the link to be displayed (if i use the sandbox style credit card, the link IS displayed)

The file i am trying to sell is a commerce 'licensed file'. I largely worked from the webseries on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wp0fsHV5vMI

I have read a bit on this, i am not the only one to have seen this issue. It seems on face value to be with the timing of the paypal payment being made vs the website 'knowing' the payment as gone through. Some people seem to be using drupal patches (which works for some, not others), others seem to not have the issue.

It might be that, or might be that i a have just mucked something up. The latter is more likely perhaps :)

All i want is a user to use paypal, and get a link to the PDF. They dont need an account, but if they have to have one, then all good.

I have worked through every other issue for the sites I have made, but cannot afford to give more time to this.

As i said, happy to pay something reasonable. I would imagine this would likely be a fairly quick fix for someone that knows what they are doing

Depending on pricing, happy for someone to look over the site as a whole and give recommendations etc

I am certainly new to asking for freelance help though! So bare with me if i am going about this the wrong way!
