Since #926344: Add support for field row style is still a ways off, it would probably be a good idea to clean up the fallback display used when JS isn't enabled.

Ideally we would display something resembling a calendar, but I think that can wait until after a stable release. In the meantime, here's a little tweak that doesn't interfere with the jQuery, but is more usable for theming.
