I can't figure out how to download files using IMCE. I need to allow a user who uploads a file with standalone IMCE to be able to download that file also. Is this currently possible through IMCE?
I searched through the posts and found these related posts:

Some of these previous post are old, but they were never answered on HOW to download using IMCE. This is my first post, apologies if its not perfect. If IMCE is the wrong module please refer me in the right direction...THANKS!!

ufku CreditAttribution: ufku commentedYou can download files by clicking the link that appears in preview area when a file is selected.
It may open in the browser depending on the file type. If you want to force download by a button or something it will require a custom add-on.

pichu CreditAttribution: pichu commentedI use drupal 7.14 with IMCE, the download link of a (e.g.) document file is right below the list of the files of the directory.
Scroll over the name of the file and you should see the mouse pointer change so you can click upon it.
However, when I click to download the file, I get an access denied error...
