osopolarI haven't seen any side effects yet, while changing the stream name.
Patch is only for 6.x-4.9.

BTW, Ideally, this form should use the form API "machine name" field: http://api.drupal.org/api/drupal/developer--topics--forms_api_reference....
But that may require a bit of a larger re-write, it it might be better to get this in first, not sure.
