popup class is added to other links

My calendar displays 2 fields, date, and a plain text CCK field which is filled with a URL and themed using a views field template to turn this specific field into a link.

When I have the popup calendar enabled, the popup class is also added to my CCK field's link. Clicking my link created in my views field template should go to the address entered in my CCK plain text field, but instead, it opens the popup and shows the event info.
