Conflict with Node Template (Panels)

Conflict with Node Template (Panels) -- I cannot enable Node template in my page manager in Panels:

"Page manager module is unable to enable node/%node because some other module already has overridden with _trash_node_page_view."

If I disable Trash module I can enable Node Template. Is there any workaround so that I can use Trash and still enable my Node Template in Panels?
