If the theme developer module is enabled, a form with a filefield element will pop up a warning that files can’t be uploaded while theme developer is enabled.
I believe that this is fixed in current versions of filefield, so the warning should not be needed.
Would you be happy to remove this message now, or would you like to wait until theme developer creates nicer markup?

quicksketchAs far as I know, theme developer still breaks uploads, or at least we haven't done anything on the FileField side that would prevent this problem.

JeremyFrench CreditAttribution: JeremyFrench commented#467678: Attachments upload works - FileField upload does not references #404160: File Upload does not work in Acquia Slate, which implies that this is fixed. Testing locally it works with theme devel enabled in Garland.
To me it looks like it works, but I can't say that I have tested extensivly.

quicksketchHm, well I tested this out and it does indeed seem that devel_themer no longer conflicts with FileField. I'm hesitant to remove the warning, but I'm assuming that devel_themer isn't going to change too much in the future now that D7 is out (hopefully), and this error won't resurface. Removed.
