I used the installed iTunes View to get my iTunes feed which is working very well now. Briefly we are uploading weekly audio files (MP3) of our Pastor's Sunday Sermons and we can now have member subscribe to iTunes feed and here that Sunday's sermon. I have each Sunday's week number added via the Metadata as the Track Number and have the View sorted on this in the iTunes feed.

The issue is that I also want a table form page on the website with the same audio files displayed as we have done on our old traditional website and in the same order (decending track number). To do this I'm using the same iTunes View, but have built a Page display and I am then placing that in a Panel with additonal info. What I have discovered is that the Page display sort does not sort correctly as it sorts as "text" where the Feed sorts as a numeric.

Is there a way to change this?

Why not just sort them by date?

Well, that would be the normal approach. The sermons are created a day or two after the Sunday so what we are doing is using the Week Number for the track. The only date that I can access seems to be the date that the audio file is uploaded and since I was uploading all of the audio files on the same day that were created in the past the sort of the day are the same.

The thing that struck me odd was that when I use the iTunes Feed the Track number sorts numerically, but when I use the same sort i.e. Track Number for the Page display the sort is Text not Numerical. I would have expected the same sort as the Feed i.e. Numerically.

You can change the posting date manually back to the most recent Sunday. I used to do that all the time.
