Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
I recommend that you either update the Drupal 6 release candidate of this module or that you at least remove the Download for this release from the project page. It has not been updated in two years and still contains the bug that replaces existing files in the private folder which I consider to be serious.
The fact that a release candidate can be downloaded from the project page implies that it is more stable than an existing dev version. At least that was my first impression.
