For some extremely strange reason, when I enable the forum module I have my primary and secondary menus disappear, and also find that when editing menu items, the items normally listed in the dropdown under primary and secondary are depopulated. Ie, all menu items links in the administration screen under those two menus disappear.
The problem corrects itself when I disable the forum module and refresh cache.
I should also mention that I am using Acquia Prosper, rather than the standard theme that comes with the drupal commons package.

Netbuddy CreditAttribution: Netbuddy commentedProblem also occurs when I revert back to the drupal commons theme. Should also mention that the status messages when I save or update a setting do not refresh on the frontend or backend. I've seen this problem come up with other modules but it seems strange that a core module seems to be causing a problem.
