Hello,
The help text for the "Administrative Title" in the "Pane Settings" section of a Views Content pane display reads: "This is the title that will appear for this view pane in the add content dialog. If left blank, the view name will be used." I recently misinterpreted this to mean the name of the display, not the name of the view itself. This meant that a view with multiple content pane displays, each with a different display name, had only a single entry in the panel "add content" dialog.
While I did misunderstand the documented behavior, I would find it helpful if it was possible to set the administrative title of the content pane to the name of the display without cutting and pasting the display name.
Since the "Content Pane" display is defined in ctools, I assumed that this issue should be posted here. Apologies if I'm incorrect.
Thanks for all your hard work!

Patch against -dev attached. Thanks!

Thanks

merlinofchaos CreditAttribution: merlinofchaos commentedWe need to backport #1140228: Context views should not be selectable if they require another context which does this more nicely.
Here's an attempt to cherry-pick and resolve, can I get this tested?
